Most of you must be aware of the vxtask list option, but I would like to document and interesting option which helps estimate time of the running operation and also helps know the current progress.

REAL GOOD SAN INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

1. The HP Team installed a VA7400 at our location, connecting it directly to N class server. The armdiscover command was run and the storage was visible. My function was to confiure a SAN Fabric with Brocade switches and connect both the Storage and the N class servers to it, this was not under the Hp contract. I'am new to brocade and SAN, after the connections looked fine, ran the armdiscover command on the HP server, to my surprise did not find any storage connected. Here's some output that may help u troubleshoot my problem.

a. Please help me create a >>recomended<< zoning config for the target connected to (port 11) and initators on (ports 12 and 13).

b. What is difference between port 1 and port 6, although both are "L" ports??
